Happy Friday folks!
This weeks' Illustration depicts a view of 'Mysteres Du Nautilus' a gloriously themed walk-through attraction operating at Disneyland Paris. This attraction allows visitors to tour a ‘full-scale’ version of the Nautilus as opposed to the magnificent 40 rider miniature ‘subs’ from WDW Florida's 20,000 leagues under the sea. Like a cross between a massive mechanical sea horse and a giant squid, the Nautilus is built from steel plate and rivets with hemispherical viewports to either side of the bridge.. Indeed, the eyes of the great mechanical crustacean!
I'll take on a giant octopus in this!
Why must there be a massive rococo pipe organ on a submarine? Once you’ve seen it, how can you live without a pipe organ on a submarine? It’s a necessity. Truly a metaphor for the magic kingdom itself!
Enjoy this week’s Illustration and have a great weekend!
